digital cameras, camcorder accessories It was a Sunday morning as I laced up my hiking shoes and pulled a few 2 liter water bottles out of the refrigerator placing them to the side of a packed lunch, my girlfriend’s camcorder accessories and my digital cameras extra battery. Earlier in the week, a friend told me about a coastal hike that wraps above the Pacific Coast Highway and ends with a fantastic view from a sandstone ridge looking off towards the ocean. Even though it was Sunday, I expected some traffic and about a 40 minute drive to the parking lot near the trailhead. It couldn’t have been a nicer day though. The sun was shining and already warming the interior of my car as we got ready to pull out of my apartment parking garage.

Once on the residential street I pulled over to input the address in my GPS, which looks similar to the 4.3" GPS US & Canada Maps. Model - GY145C I saw within Circuit Values at http://www.circuitvalues.com the night before while researching the cost of an LCD digital frame and laptop accessories for my mom’s upcoming birthday.

Anyway, after the route came into view on the GPS hanging from my windshield, I headed towards the main road, slowing for a group of brightly colored spandex wearing cyclists who too were soaking up the wonderful day. We got to the parking lot a bit faster then expected, grabbed the backpack from my trunk and headed towards the marked trailhead. By the count of cars in this lot, it was obvious how popular this trail was. Where we were, the ocean was out of view but Seagulls flew overhead and there was a tinge of salt in the air.

The dirt trail wound through sparse vegetation, long grass and palm trees. Nearing the trailhead, I looked over my right shoulder and could see the water on the horizon. Once at the top, we both took a moment to catch our breath before staring in awe at the ocean a couple hundred feet below crashing into the rocky coast. My girlfriend broke out the camcorder accessories and I snapped plenty of pictures on both of our digital cameras. The only sound was from wind whipping up the hill and waves crashing below. Many other people were snapping photos on their digital cameras too. It could not have been a better day to be out in nature enjoying a moment seldom seen in the hustle and bustle of city life.
